Disciplines

The Department of Homeland Security recognizes a dozen distinct first responder disciplines. The Homeland Security Institute is working to build ties to and between professions within Washington State.

The links on this page will allow training managers, field personnel, and other interested parties to explore the types of training which are taking place within their own discipline and will provide an opportunity to research training which is ongoing or planned for other members of the first response team.

As with other sections of this website, we invite feedback which will help us refine information and add value.
