The Homeland Security Institute has a number of Implementation Steps assigned under its Objective within the 2005 Washington Statewide Strategic Plan. In order to meet all of those tasks, as well as those specified under its contract with the Washington State Patrol, the HSI has organized some of it work under defined projects. These projects include:
