Capability Planning

This Capabilities-Based Planning Instrument (CBPI) was designed by the Homeland Security Institute to help you align your existing preparedness strategies with national goals. It allows you to use a simple, interactive process to find and assemble information contained in current federal guidance, including the National Preparedness Goal, Universal Task List, and Target Capabilities List.
The CBPI can help you to:

The CBPI provides an easy and efficient process for you to start capabilities-based planning. By selecting from a seriesCBPI of dropdown menus, you can bring together the information you need from current federal guidance documents.

The CBPI will also help you to become more familiar with the National Preparedness Goal's implementation processes and terminology.
